Dad and I (Dad 60+, me 37) went out yesterday (Tues) for our final trip this year.
Weather - Fog & Overcast, misty with a shower around noon.
Wind - Slight breeze out of the East.
Water - Relatively calm, 72 degrees
Depth - 4 to 6 feet
Ramp - 3 boaters ahead of us at 7:00 am. Surprised me for a Tuesday.
System - 1000' Chicken necked trout-line.
Catch - 1 1/2 Bu. (95 Crabs) of Mumbo-Jumbos. 7+ inchers

Should of had 2 Bu., but they were dropping off just shy of the surface near the bow. Not many females, but the ones we caught were huge and mature. Pleased to say we tossed em back.

Maybe saw 3 commercial guys way out in the middle of Eastern Bay, not many close in. Maybe crabs are headed for warmer deeper water?
We ate good last night and had a blast this year! Now comes hunting season
