Great Report, I'd save that 9 3/4" crab and get it mounted. Then get it to Crabguy for the record book page!!  Cool

Sorry guys

I only had cell phone with me yesterday.. I took pics of the bushel baskets but did not take pic of the big crab..

I talked to a couple of comm boys yesterday and showed them the crab and they said they have been catching crabs that big and 1 crab @ 10 1/4 for the last 10 days..

He also said that last tuesday a buddy of his caught 22 bushel out by the mouth of the river that count did include sooks though..

I have caught crabs pushing 10 inches many times in the Wye river, but that was years ago

Z,

I think I would call it quits for the season after a day like that. End on a great note!!!  I agree with Seaweed sounds like new crab of the year record on the site.  let alone 7 over 9 WOW I think I would have mounted the 9 3/4 crab.... Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Course that would be one [Sam Hill] of a crab cake out of that dude.  good job/ report.
