I was wondering the same thing !  It is hard to tell if the crabs are big or small because we don't know what the bait is.  I personally thought is was my ex-wife's left arm.

I guess if it is a whole chicken the crabs are huge !  But it could be a cornish game hen and then they would be tiny.

So let us know, & in any case the pictures are still awesome !

turkey drum, those crabs above weren't whoppers, but they were legal.

here's some more pics.  the actual resolution for the pics is 1284 @ 2mb per pic, which is huge.  i shrank em to 700 res and compressed the quality to a mere 120kb.

just one, chill out buddy.  recreational crabbers have no adverse affects on the female populations.  you can blame the commercial crabbers who catch em by the boatloads and sells em as #2, 3's in the market.  besides, the creek i crab yields 90% male.
