Thanks  Cool  I just bought my 1st boat for $150 so I'm not to sure on how it'll run.  15 ft with a 50hp merc motor.  Hence the name

march 15th seaside and i think april 6 del bay thats for crab pots 7 trout lines but the water still to cold probaly be first week in april for it warms up enough

I lived in Glenolden for a couple of years, also lived in Folcroft, Went to Eddystone  High School, but ended my High school at   Ridley.

IMHO, I think you are waisting your time till about June anyway. Water has to get to about 55 consistantly for good crabbing. Will get some early, but if I can fish, or golf, I'll wait for July to try crabbing. In Jersey, then you have to battle the flys Grin Roll Eyes

Insane, for consistant yes. However, aint gonna git em ifin ya dont go! They do catch a lot earlier there than Del Bay. I think the back waters heat up a lot better. Shallower there, and them bright sunny days help. I'll be hittin the weakie spots down that way come mid April. Still catchin some nice(10#+) weaks early. Crab wise, the earliest I ever caught was Mem Day. That was an early summer too.
