Can female crabs be kept in N.C.? Mature, Immature? All I found out so far is 5" point to point but but nothing about sex.

i don't know i'm pretty sure u can keep them i though it was six inches point to point though

Immuture females cand be saved as long as they are 5 inches, Mature Females can be saved  too. But certian months we have to throw the 6 3/4" and bigger ones back..(in the fall and early spring)

Yes.....and Genecrabman already gave the answer but, the size limit chaanges from like mid/end of Sept to the end of April.....size limit between that time period is no mature female  crabs shall NOT be kept over 6 3/4" point to point.  http://www.ncfisheries.net/   under >ncfisheries.net/recreational to help you with more info
