The "OLD BAY" package states:


...Layer crabs; sprinkle each layer with OLD BAY, Cover and steam until crabs are red.

THIS DANGEROUS! Crabs become red after only two minutes!

Steve use your power and influnce to have McCormick and Co. change this very dangerous cooking recipe!

I have contacted McCormick and have had no response. Please, all of you try to do the same.

I love "OLD BAY" but this is just careless. Angry Huh

I agree... back in my rookie days, I steamed a dozen crabs according to the Old Bay instructions. Dumped the crabs out after about 10 minutes. I just remember them being extremely watery and unpleasant to eat.  Sad
