my buddy needs it because we are going to start selling them on the road side in two different locations thus he needs one in order to do taht .

I may be wrong and things may have changed since I sold my business, but you never needed a  comm lic to sell crabs along side the road.  I granted that was 15 years ago, but I can't beleive things have changed that much esp since the DNR has put a hold on lic's.

unless its changes in the last year you dont. Check with the county you live for the licenses you do need. There are a few hoops to jump through to do it LEGALLY in most counties.
