I just had this E-mailed to me, thought everyone might be interested. Anyone know this crabber from Kent Island?

David Merle Grimes, 48, of Stevensville, a native Kent Islander, and local waterman for the past 30 years, caught his first three-clawed blue crab over the weekend of June 17. Grimes said, "I've never caught or seen anything like it before in my 30 years of crabbing."

We have been catching blues on the Mobile Bay Causeway (Mobile, Alabama) with very deformed claws... never saw that before either.

Have you been catching them this way for a long time or after some major event (like Rita)?
