Back at it last Tuesday with mixed results this time. I set out the same 10 pots ( 1/2 pot size ) as last time. Things started out pretty well and then went south. Made 5 pulls and the results are these. 1st pull 24 crabs caught with 11 keepers. 2 stone crabs and 1 would have been legal ( Aug 16th reopens ) . 2nd pull 26 crabs caught with 13 keepers. 3 stone crabs and 2 had a legal claw . 3rd pull 14 crabs caught 6 keepers  and 5 nice stone crabs- all with legal claws and 1 very nice flounder. 4th pull 17 crabs caught, 6 keepers, last pull 21 crabs caught with 4 keepers and 1 more flounder- around 14 inches, and 1 small stone crab. Would have loved to have kept the stone crab claws- probably over 3 # worth. Next time they will be not be found :)

Well done, thanks for sharing.   Hoping to be in South Carolina crabbing in September near Seabrook on HorseShoe Creek.
