Why does it seem like no one is crabbing in DE?
I see most reports coming out of MD but no posts from DE since July.

I honestly think everyone is on Facebook these days, and forums like this are struggling.

No pictures to post, but I've been mostly crabbing at Indian River, once at Assawoman, always in a boat. Most of the summer has been good, some days better than others, but overall decent. Catches the last few times have been less in numbers, but very meaty & full. I'd like to eventually explore some of the creeks that lead into the Delaware Bay in Kent county, but always fall back on the familiar spots I know. Maybe if I had someone else to go with I'd be more motivated to broaden my horizons.

Hope this helps!

It seems like the number of posts are down in all states for the reasons noted above.  Delaware had fewer to begin with so now its pretty thin.

I can tell you from my few trips to IR this year that plenty of people are crabbing, just not many reports here. I've been out of IR about 4 times, Augustine once, and a number of times in MD.  It's been a slow year for me overall.  Most times I can catch what I want but I have needed to hunt around and work for them.

I personally am not good at posting - after driving back, cleaning up, cooking and eating crabs my day is just about shot.  I plan to try little creek at least once this year so I will try to remember to post a report.

Happy Crabbing!

We haven't been this year, but I'm planning on hitting Little Assawoman Bay the week after next. I'll report on my findings (I usually crab from the shore though).
