Had an awesome day with my new crabbing team of Ginnie and Shell.  We waited quite a few days after red tide moved out.   It was a slow start but once we moved the traps from a cove to the ICW outside  the boat channel, we started hitting.  For me, it's not about filling orders like some of you guys, and thank goodness, because I'd be writing myself a check every week!  We snared 14 crabs, two small, say 5.25" and the rest over 6.5" with one registering in at 8.25", (photo) all heavy and all healthy!  The point is: I'm getting crabs and now getting enough for a meal with Ginnie providing some lovely side dishes today.  I was so busy teaching my new team to crab that I didn't get any photos but will post once I get them from the girls.

Water Temp: 87
Depth: 5' to 8.5'
Bait: Chicken Pieces
Tools: 2 Stack Traps, 10 stackable traps

P.S. Not It Order Photos: Girls on Boats, Girls getting Crabs, Girls taking a dip in pool while crabs steam. Girls' Haul for the day

Looks like you "Three Old(er) Broads" had a great time out there catching some crabs. Nice to catch an 8 incher in the mix. What a great day with crabs, pool, great weather and great friends. Thanks for sharing your report and catch. Way to go.
