Finally got some venison

 It's been a slow year, last year by mid November I had 3 deer, 2 in DE and one in the early PA doe season for seniors and juniors. This year I hunted all 3 days of the early PA season and saw nothing, 4 days in DE gun season and nothing. Well today on the PA opener for guns, with or without antlers I was in my normal stand in my woods and about 11 AM a group of 6-7 does came by and I picked out the biggest and shot, she ran one way while the rest went another, I was still in my stand looking at where she was so I could start tracking when 2 deer came back, I had 2 doe tags so I shot again. The 2 shots were about 3 minutes apart and both easy tracks and the dragging wasn't bad but my back didn't like 2 deer to gut at once, maybe I'm getting too old to shoot 2 at a time but I won't be 70 until Wednesday so it cant be that.

Im younger then you and I dont like shooting more then 1 deer if Im by myself.  Good job on the deer.
