After an extremely slow 2021 season in Jacksonville, I started 2022 much better earlier this week. I first went to my favorite small cove and found a cold wind, dirty water, and a flood tide. I almost left but decided to stay and surprised myself with a dozen nice keeper crabs. Next, I moved on to a nearby spot I found last year at a marina that has a small side area of low water and barnacles. Caught eight more there at a good size. I am hopeful this will be a good year. Good luck to everyone down south of here and let us know how you do. Peter

Good news is always great to hear! Thanks for your report! I sure  hope this will be a better year than the last two!
I took a ride to Oak Hill last week and gave it a try. I only had some old Black Sea Bass racks I've had in my freezer for too long!
I got 8 crabs 5" to 6.5". That's more crabs than I caught in all of 2020 and 2021! I hope it continues!
Retired in paradise!
