Hey y'all!  Been a few years since I've been crabbing. Family health issues kept me at bay from going out. Used to crab Wareham rivers and bays from shore and canoe.

Looking to get back into it with my now teenaged kids from either canoe or land. My old haunts seem "dry" and was hoping for some very general direction as to where crab might be holding the past few years.

I don't want secret spots or anything, just something to get me back into this. I need to bind with my kids more now that they're trying to fledge their little wings out of my nest and before it's too late to make these memories.

Thank you all in advance FOR ANYTHING you might be able to help
Me with. I do had lines and box traps if that helps narrow down my field.

Much appreciated!!

I'm in the same spot. There were some maps by Masspi but they are 15 years old. With water quality issues would be great to get some updates on Buzzards Bay spots.

The public fishing piers on the Wareham river off Rt 6, with collapsible traps would be a good 1st place to start.   Then spend some time on google maps on all the inlets, focusing more on where you can park than the inlets themselves.   Lots of the beaches people swim at during the day would be good places to go at night with a dip net and a flashlight.  Again, parking is the thing you need to figure out.
