Set out 2 full sized pots and 6  1/2 size   ( FINALLY ) after 5 long weeks and 3400 in repair bills to the ol red truck.  It was nice to finally get back out on the water. I only checked the pots twice after about a 24 hour soak. I normally like to check about every 12 hours but afternoon storms and high winds changed that. Anyway I ended up with 78 total crabs caught with 5 being stone crabs.  Had 34 keepers with no real giants. Saturday morning I did have 2 very nice flounder in the pots - 18 inch range.  Cannot tell you the pain inside to have to release those fish. Anyway- crabs or not- it was awesome to be back out on the water again. Small croakers and pin fish were the bait as well as a few netted mullet.

Well done!   Glad to hear the Red Truck is back but ouch on the price.  Hopefully eating fresh crab eased the sting.  Always appreciate your reports.
