Topsail KING TIDE Crabbing

Set out 5  1/2 sized pots on Oct 26th trying to catch me a dozen before the season ends and WOW was that water HIGH !!!  Higher than aftermath from hurricanes. Crabs were hard to come by. I only made 2 pulls- approx 24 hours apart before I called it. Ended up with 16 crabs caught, 8 keepers and 6 stone crabs. Stone crabs were barely legal size ( claws ) so I released them and was glad to get 8 crabs out of 10- big enough to keep. My area the past 2-3 years has been awful to say the least. I mat try 1-2 more times before I call it for the year. Having the headaches and dizzy mess again so I haven't been going like I normally do.
