I happen to work for FURUNO USA and when this video was forwarded to me at work, I thought some of you might be interested in how that technology actually came about. I thought it was an interesting story and it was only the start of what has become one of the worlds leading Marine Electronics companies. They now also supply Radars, Autopilots, Communications equipment among others and have branched out into Medical and other fields world wide.
