April fools ????? March 29-31st report

Back at Topsail for the end of oyster season and to toss out a few crab pots. Put 6 ( 1/2 sized ) and 2 full size out and it looks like the same ol dull results as last year. Gets worse every year it seems. I checked the pots 3 times and ended up catching a total of 46 crabs with just 8 small keepers and 1 small stone crab. Pretty pathetic crabbing. I used to pull 3 pots and catch that many. Guess in that area- its dead. Anyway- I'm hard headed and will be trying again.

Thanks for the report. Its still early bud, lots of time to start slaying them. Have you tried different areas?
