Do people crab any further up the Hudson than Bear Mountain Dock? Also when does the crabbing get good on the Hudson?

I can only say that I have been crabbing the Hudson river for around 50+ years and it's always been the Bear mountain dock and the peekskill ny area and have a lot of memories at the Bear mountain dock. My dad just passed away in March. he was the one that got me started very young. Any way, the crabbing is usually best July through September, sometimes October. Using bluegills. :) :)
