Looking for feedback on powering a hydraulic winder using a dump trailer pump.
If anyone has experience would 2 gpm be powerful enough?
And do you use a single or double action pump?

Seaweed

2 gpm is not enough.  Most hydro motors need 11 or 13 gpm usually.  A log splitter pump powered by an engine with at least 6 hp is what you're looking for.
Git 'r dun!

The motor I have is 2-12 gpm according to the manufacturer.
It was already on the winder at time of purchase

Did you ever mount that pot puller to the new bathtub sonny?
This is how it's going to go.  After I kick your A$$ i'm going to run you through the wood chipper and put you in containers in the freezer to use in my crab pots!  The really sad part?  You let an old man kick your A$$!!!
