Topsail crabbing June 27- 30th

Set out 6 pots with very little luck. Checked 3 times, approx 24 hours apart before hauling them back in yesterday morning. Total crabs caught was only 45 with 11 keepers. Caught 2 stone crabs- released and had 9 flounder in the pots- 2 nice ones and 2 different pots each had 2 flounder in them. Seems like I am catching far more flounder than I ever have before. I guess that is what happens when we haven't been able to fish for them in the past 3 years. This 30 day season and now 14 day season is a joke. Sure looks like I need to put crabbing to a rest or move locations a few miles somewhere. Good luck to ALL and have a Happy and safe 4th !
