I tried the north causeway fishing docks again today with some leftover chicken necks I used on my last crabbing trek and refroze!
I wasn't expecting too much but I did OK! I got 12 keepers, I let 10 small or eggers go and I had two got aways! Not too bad.
I crabbed an incoming tide for three hours but only caught crabs the first two hours. I think my bait was pretty well played out by then! Low tide was at 6am, high tide was at noon and I crabbed from 8am to 11am. This trip gives me 108 for the year so far!

I will wait till I come back from my trip north for my Columbus Day charter till I start crabbing down here. I expect to bring at least 1 1\2 bushels back with me. I crabbed the Wye 0n Columbus day the last 15+ years. It will be good seeing Chuck and the guys at the landing.

Then we can figure out where we want to hook up.

I will also eventually hook up with Ronnie Day again. He has bigger crabs by him too. Just have to walk over the gators and dont step on the snakes.  thats a 5 hour drive.

That's one trip I was I had made.  Visit the 2 Ronnies when they were working crab....
