Figured I'd give it a try one last time before the water got too cold. Water temp average 59 degrees, sunny and breezy,, incoming tide.  Plenty of action,, lots of just 5's,and smaller. Took 20 5 1/4- 7 inches,, plenty for dinner and a nice batch of sauce . Everyone have a nice winter, and hope for a better year next year.

Firsttime in 20+ years I missed an October crabbin trip but old mother nature was a real mother this year
Anyway enjoy the meal and lets hope next year the rain gets back to normal.

Wow great job!   :)
I sadly stored all my crabbin' gear for the winter. sigh.  While I was at it I brought up the snow shovel and roof rake (might as well get all the misery done at once lol)
Hopefully all those crabs we couldn't get this year will come back bigger n' better in 2024.

Yes, hope they do come back,, was such a great season until that rain started every week. Water was STILL a little merky the other day !
