Again, I did not realize people anticipated my reports. I guess in a way we post our reports so we can a share little of our enjoyment with others. I know Adam was always excited about posting his first trip of the year.

Honestly, your report means crabbing season has started, not that I'm going anytime soon, but I am excited that it has arrived.

Fifteen years ago I trailered my boat from White Marsh to Fishing Bay in early April to see if I could catch crabs a month before they got active in my usual mid-bay location.  We got 18 heavy holdovers before getting blown off the water.  Comms were already working the area pretty hard that day.  I never went back but won't ever forget getting in on some early action.

Yes, some people forget or did not realize that some crabs bury into the mud and winter in place. Good luck this season!
There's no place like roam!

Good going Jack. Great seeing you're carrying on Adam's legacy, getting those early crabs.  Good luck to your wife, hope she gets well soon!
I love to fish, but I live to crab.
