Hard to believe that NO ONE posts here ever.  I was the last one and that was October. Anyway- set out 8 pots April 4th in 3-4 foot of water- 4 half sized and 4- full sized. Bait was some of everything- tuna scraps, sea mullet, crappie,  whatever I could find. Anyways- total crab count for 2 days was 57 crabs caught, only 8 keepers, 1 sponge crab, 7 stone crabs ( all small ) and 1 flounder already.  A little later start that normal for me but it doesn't look like I have missed much.  Good Crabbing ALL in 2024 !  Oh- and I was at Topsail sound.

Scenery would be nice.  I've seen enough crabs.

Thanks for the report! I haven't started yet. Water temp here is 72 but the few crabbers I have seen catch is few.
