I just finished a Luke McFadden video where he and his crew were out running a line of traps.

One thing puzzled me. There was a tank of water in the center of the deck where the traps were placed after they were emptied and baited. They soaked there for a few seconds, then back on the line they went.

What is the purpose of the tank? Disinfectant, cleaner, crab scent lure, what?

Your link goes to Mach 1 fishing, not the commercial crabber.  While Martin's a great guy with videos that are fun to watch, if ya wanna see the commercial crabbin video here's the link.
I love to fish, but I live to crab.

Looks like that boat is for sale.   $25k     The owner tells a story of how-why he bought it and why he wants to sell it.  Interesting story.

You're right.  Steering wheel on port side on boat for sale. That's rare!   might take a while to get used to.  Besides not being able to run in shallow water and weight/fuel cost,  that's maybe another reason for selling.
