Fresh/raw Chicken necks

Does anyone know where I can get raw chicken necks in the Annapolis area. I would like to buy them not frozen so I can break them down into bags with the exact amount of necks I need to bait my line and have them frozen. I hate buying 40lbs frozen and constantly refreezing them every time I need to bait a 1200ft line

Defrost that 40lb box one time and then divide it up??
No place I know (other than a place near Baltimore) would have non frozen forty pound boxes of necks.

Thanks man I will check it out don't need that many at once got aleast a month to buy small batches if I have to till I have enough. But if they have them that will work perfect

Don't thank me, thank Harford Crabber...he's the one who turned me on to that place.  They're pretty small though as in cutting the neck in half to get two pieces of bait.  They'll be a handful in the box that are big enough to cut in half, otherwise...
I like "Lee's Bait" off Dominion Rd. down by Crab Alley.  Good size fowl necks and Teddy is a really good dude to give your money to.

I get 40# boxes of frozen necks from Save a Lot stores. I call ahead so they can get a box transferred to my local store for pick up. Then I thaw them under running water and repackage in lots of 30 necks per bag.

I get mine fresh, then freeze 100 neck bags.

A crabbing buddy gets his from Geresbecks Food Market.  They are small like what Richardson's sells and if I remember right a little cheaper.  But they are a lot closer to Annapolis.  I'd call before going to be sure they have what you want.
BTW, another crabbing buddy got good size fowl necks (unfrozen) from Richardson's last year. I think he said they were $38 for 40# box ($10 more than chicken)  but if you want bigger, that's an option. Also the fowl necks seem to be a lil tougher than the smaller chicken necks so they hold up better.
