I am new to trot line crabbing in VA. In Maryland the start time during summer is 1/2 hour before sunrise. I have read the regulations for VA and I don't see any mention of start times. Does that mean you can trot line at night?
Thank you

There are no time restrictions that I am aware of.   In fact I have never seen anyone trotline here.  ;D

I have gone the last two weekends. About 50 crabs each time. I don't keep females. There is definitely a size difference. I think the average size is about 5.5 inches. Now that you mention it, people do look at me stangly.
Then again, they always have lol. Thanks for the info.
