Net rings and trot lines

Hello, I am trying to find regulations on using net rings in combination with a trotline. Can anyone direct me or does anyone know what the gear limits are with this? I have checked the book and see 1200' line max and 30 rings max but nothing about limits for using both. Thank you and good luck to all.

Many people use rings to find the crabs, then deploy a trot line. I would think the bait would not last if trying to work both at the same time. Have never tried it myself. I know there are times I cut back on the number of rings I deploy so I can work them effectively before the bait is gone.
