Fairhaven Crabber

Went out 2 hours before low tide on this day for my first attempt on the year.. extremely slow day, water clear but I'm guessing a bit too brackish for the crabs to want to come up into the creek, or go out of it for that matter as I only saw maybe a half dozen over a 2 hour span.  Caught three of them, 2 large males, one crisp and clean and the other super rusty, first time I've ever done that!  One more smaller male.. was enough for me to make some crab bisque back home, Score!

wish they were flowing more here though due to the insane heat we have been having this year, I expected a LOT more action.. was upsetting not to see it.
