Kent Island Kayak Trip - 8/5

What a great day on the water. Ran my 600' trotline with chicken necks starting at 7:00 am. Finished with just shy of a bushel (I know my steamer's limit) at 9:40 am. Off the water by 10:30 am. Most crabs were big and dirty.  A lot of doublers, and a fair number of small crabs and females but not anything like 2 weeks ago.

Love seeing fellow kayakers getting out there and getting good results.  I haven't tried a trotline yet, still working ring traps, but I get more than enough crabs for my wife and I. Crab On!
