I live in Pasco but headed up to Bayport based on some info I gleaned here, plus on YouTube and Google Maps.  Bayou road is this cool little strip of road with water on both sides.

Setup with 12 lines baited w chicken drumsticks (cheap from Walmart).  We started at 8am, and high tide was at 7am.  It was overcast a bit, which is nice as the crabs don't spook as easily.

At about 9:15 we had had only 2 small crabs.  We moved to a different spot.

There we had more action, faster, but they were all small.  We managed one keeper.  Either bait wouldn't be touched, or if it was, there were only small crabs on it.

As we left, we saw a family that had just come from Jenkins park.  They had about a half a dozen, so we gave them our one crab and called it quits.

Seems like it could be a good place.  Not sure if it's the time of year or what.  Oh well.
