Western mid Bay 2 AUG 24. Dead clams.

Still trying to dial in on how to keep these things alive. I've read many posts about them and talked to many guys about keeping them alive. I just suck at it so far. Anyways, that's what I used today. Dead clams 2200 feet. I hit my two lug limit in short order. I lose a bushel by using lugs but they fit in my freezer/cooler so that's what I got for now. Good thing  I didn't keep anymore because I got stopped by a DNR officer. Second time in a week. He was looking to make sure I was following the new limits. Very nice guy and great interaction. I'm thinking about getting some eel pots to use as bait and plan on trying North Bay next week.
