Good day all,
We are considering a camping trip near rockhall and am wonder about the crabbing in the area. I would be using a 14'V for some fishing and crabbing. How is it in the back waters or right out in front on the bay proper ?
Probably not till next year and I do realize crabs would not be up that far till mid summer, is that correct ?

     Thanks

That's not a crabbing report.

Try putting Rockhall or any other town or location you are interested in into the search bar. You will see posts that match that topic.
There's no place like roam!

I live in Rock Hall and here is what I suggest you do.  Book a campsite at Bay Shore Campground - https://bayshorecamping.com.  Bay Shore is below Rock Hall on route 445, Eastern Neck Road.  About half way between Rock Hall and Bay Shore there is a short, dead end road named Grays Inn Landing Rd.  There is a boat launch at the end of Grays of Inn Landing road that you can use to launch your boat onto Grays Inn Creek.  From there, you will have access to all Grays Inn Creek and Herringtown Creek, both are decent places to crab in late August and September.  If you want to try the Chester River, Grays Inn Creek flows into the Chester about 2 miles downstream from where you'll launch.  Hope this helps you.
