2 Tuesday trips to old lyme

Went down to old Lyme on the 6th.  Got 12 nice ones in 20 minutes!!  Gonna be a banner day, nope, 6. More in 3+ hours??  They shut right off???Went back on the 13th, and it was slow!!!  Kept moving @ and ended up with 7 1/2 crabs. The 1/2 crab was a small soft shell???Can't figure them out!!  Wanted to try scooping first but. Water was too murky!!  Could only see less than a foot deep.  We were slinging chicken with hand lines!!  Gonna try somewhere else next time!!
