Headed out of Higbees around 7:15 and 10-15 mph winds. Ran to the same place as last week. Got into the crabs pretty good but tough driving the boat. The tide changed and the sandbar never made a showing. T. he winds picked up to about 20 at times .Shut off the hot spot so we moved further back and picked here and there. The tide was flipping traps so moved on again. Moved over to another creek and nailed them.  Played around til a bushel and a third was kept as we had to wait for the tide to get under the bridge. Went home with 103  from 5" up to 6.75" rusty full crabs. Ran over 3 traps that wrapped up in the propeller. Quit at 230.  I took a picture of the first bushel and forgot the other one.

Throwback, some heavy looking crabs in that photo i need to get down to higbees a good drive for me but you always do well there.Plus it helps when you know where to go. I think were going to have a goog fall run, especially further south where some guys have said it has been slow ,like dividing creek.Be well enjoy that meal.
