Finally got em in New Smyrna 9-19-2024

Went out yesterday in New Smyrna with ring nets and got  19 in one hour!
I stayed another hour but nothing happened when I left; I had enough.
All crabs caught were mostly mediums. I also caught 15 - 20 egger females that were all released. The egger females were larger and most with barnacles on their shells.  The sea turtle also showed up again stealing the chicken neck baits for a free lunch! The baits are well secured but he is an expert at extracting them! I believe it's a Loggerhead Sea Turtle.  This brings me to 43 so far for the year.
Today 9-21-2024 we have a super strong and very high high tide (+1.5') probably due to the recent full moon and heavy rains.
I see no crabbers in my area today.
