Seems to be getting better in Old Lyme. 9/30

Came down to Old Lyme yesterday to give it a try. The reports have not been great but it wasn't a bad day. Spent several hours but came home with 29 decent sized crabs. Many of the crabs we caught were 6.5 - 7 inchers!  We were not expecting the sizes we got! They are here but patience is key. Strange no turtles.  Wind picked up later in the day.

Awesome! Seems like they have been up and down the river system. Maybe they are starting the march to deeper water?
