The days catch in Brick

Throwback great day on the water 77 a healthy catch of heavy crabs. i think we still have a couple of weeks left of good crabbing.i was out with 2 buddies fishing near the Pt.Pleasant canal. We had blowfish and live spot on the pier,we live lined some spot for stripers and lost a 25pounder at the pier,then a huge 30 inch blue bit thru the line also very close to landing him. But we did manage 3 nice blackfish on green crab. at home i  cleaned them and decided to use the carcass for crab bait with 2 drop lines and caught 11 nice blue claws.My mother in law took one the fish heads for soup and fish stock. we dont waste anything given to us by the GOOD LORD. even the crab shells go back in to feed the gulls and baitfish Ahh the circle of life.
