We passed this at the Wye on Monday, Backhoe on barge digging something. Piles of rocks, tree parts, and and what appears to be, at least from a distance,  dumpsters of dry dirt on board. Does anyone know what this is?

they do sea walls.  boulders for the rip rap and prevents erosion.  dirt for back fill or removed to for the rip rap replacements along with the tree debris
