Wye river this guy is a real pennsylvania prick we set our 30 pots up at the wye and he sets his line 40 ft from me. Your a dic and should probably stick to crabbing in pennsylvania...

Crabslayer

Well if you set 30 pots you are in a heap of chit. :o  I hope you meant to say traps. ;D
This is how it's going to go.  After I kick your A$$ i'm going to run you through the wood chipper and put you in containers in the freezer to use in my crab pots!  The really sad part?  You let an old man kick your A$$!!!

To complete the Eastern Shore slam as a member of the Dutch Navy he probably bagged a 6 pt sika stag yesterday in Blackwater and will drag around a few rattletraps while crabbing to pick up a nice slot rockfish.

Wallco99

I think that jacka ss did that to me last month. That ball looks awfully familiar.

Same happened to me also. They ran their line 15' from my float. I should've asked them if they didn't mind, could you check my trap. That's my float off their stern while the guy in the white hat is trying to apologize for stepping on us.

Mikie

Well, everybody that this guy crowds should call the NRP and complain. Eventually they'll get somebody out there to talk to him and maybe even give him a ticket, or his float could magically float away while he's at the other end of his line. Used to happen all of the time with the old time watermen.

Seems to me they should have just moved. I crab in the Bush. Last week a guy came blazing from nowhere and started pitching out his traps. He was well inside the legal space. I think he finally realized that he was imposing and moved before I could say anything. Every time I go out I go well past where I would lay my last ring and then work back towards where I would have laid my first ring. That way I'm never going to step on anyone. Just some people act like they own a spot. Rivers are big and wide and full of crabs. A little courtesy goes a long way.

Wallco99

Nuh-uh!!! There's only crabs in TWO spots, everybody knows that. LOL.

Reason #971 as to why I crab in the afternoons.
It only cost twice as much to go 1st class.

Not all of us Pennsylvanians are bad  :( :(
Although, I get it. We say the same when the Marylanders are driving like race car drivers up here.  :) :)

Guys on the water don't know I'm a Pennsylvania crabber since the boat has MD registration. ;)

Oh, and I'm definitely not one of the bad ones. I grew up around the bay and was taught courtesy, it seems to be rare these days.
