Decided to take one last trip for the year yesterday so I stopped by the butcher shop for some chicken backs last night and this morning stopped at the bait shop to pick up some bunker and got set up for a day of crabbing by 5:30. The day was very slow with no real rushes at any specific Tide or time but we still grinded out enough to come home with 20 of the clawed things. Had a whole bunch of measurable crabs, should be interesting at the very beginning of next season. Crabs largely preferred bunker today, don't even recall catching anything with chicken. Sounded like we were crabbing in a war zone with all the duck hunters out further in the marshes lol. All in all a slow but enjoyable way to end another year of crabbing, excited to get back at it in 2025.

Il've seen boiled like that.  Not everyone steams them.  I do it (boil vs steam) about 1/2 of the time.  The meat tastes better than the smothered with spices steaming method.  Unless you overcook them
