Set out in the kayak 2 hours before the first high tide.  9 box traps baited with chicken drumsticks.  Struggled with wind all day and only came up with 16 males after 5 hours.  The big late season rusty crabs that I envisioned may already be in the mud.

Do have to say you gave it a solid effort. 5 hours in a kayak, in the wind, crabbing, is no joke. Enjoy your bounty, you earned it. Thanks for the report.
