11-2-24 Great day at DC

Went to DC with 24 traps loaded with chicken and perch. After seeing Wallco99 reports from the Wye I had to give it a go here. Water temp was 58 and it was a nice day. The first run was 20 crabs the picture on the left is cooler after the first run. Left at 12:30 with a cooler full of crabs culled at 5.5.

Go get them, They are not sleeping yet. We were catching 3 to 5 crabs in about 50% of the traps

Wow the Machine is still getting them now with the warmer few days ahead i may have to take the yak out for 1 last run myself ,maybe Forge pond alot of shelter there,thanks for the great pics and report.

So this time of year they are more likely to be in ponds or steams away from the bay (Barnegate)?
