Well, this is my first try aftee the hurricanes. Left 5 blue crab traps and 4 stone crab traps in Edgewater between Thursday and Saturday. All I took home were those three blue crabs. All three were males which is curious since that spot is usually full of female crabs, would say that in the past I caught a 6 females per male.

One stone crab with no claws, and the other had one of the claws aroun 2 inches and 5/8. It was close but I had to let it go.

There was also that weird little reddish crab which I don't know which kind is it.

Not a good one, but is better than 0.

You did better than I did in my last two trips out! Only one egger female that was released!
Your red crab is C. bocourti. I've seen a couple of those in the Oak Hill area.
Thanks for the report and pictures!

I think you need six more pictures of that exact same plate so we can really get a sense of it.
