I just caught a blue crab the other day. Today, I bought a fish tank, a water filter, an aerator, carib sea sand (With magnesium, Calcium, and Strontium, says it contains aragonite.) a heater, and a light.

What other minerals might I need? How long do I need to wait until moving the crab into the tank? What food do I get? I fed it some more of the live bait I used to catch him but I'm running low. Anyone that can help I'd be really appreciative!!!

Search "aquarium".  Keeping crabs has been discussed many times.  How big is the tank?  If you can get some water from where the crab came from would help cycle the aquarium.  If not,  get a few gold fish or minnows.  They will speed up the cycling.  Plus the crab will catch and eat them sooner or later.  You didn't mention salt.  You will need some of that at first. You can use non-iodized table salt but saltwater aquarium salt would be better.  About a half teaspoon per gallon should work.  Over time the crab will acclimate to fresh water.  Plan on doing partial water catches weekly until the filter cycles.  Don't clean the filter. Just rinse it out.  Oh yeah, don't put a second crab in the tank.  The first crab to shed will be killed and eaten.  That crab should live about 3 years.
