Hello i am in town visiting for a week and i would really love to go crabbing but am having trouble finding a good LAND fishing spot, all of the recommendations I've been getting are to either get a boat or just buy some, but i want to go crabbing with my sister like we used to do back in the day; can someone please help us out🙏🏼🙏🏼 I'm located near DC but am willing to travel!

you won't find crabs close to shore this time of year

The closest thing to a "land" crabbing this time of the year may be the Bill Burton Fishing Pier at Cambridge.  You may catch a few in  15'+ water depth off it.

Unfortunately:
Bill Burton Fishing Pier State Park
All information on the fishing piers closure is up-to-date as of April 2024.
The fishing piers at Bill Burton Fishing Pier State Park are closed in both Dorchester and Talbot Counties due to structural safety concerns. Shoreline and trail access is open on the Talbot County side of the park and the pedestrian access to the Visitor Center boardwalk is open on the Dorchester County side.
An underwater inspection conducted in February 2022 found crumbling concrete in many areas of the structure below the water surface. These defects can cause sudden failures, often with little to no warning, making the structure unpredictable and unsafe. Due to this evaluation and concern for public safety, the bridge piers will remain closed until further notice.
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is committed to providing safe public fishing access and will inform and engage the public throughout the planning process regarding this location.
