Zero at the north Causeway in New Smyrna.  Actually, I did catch one 5" female on a Gulp! shrimp that I was fishing with...but the traps with spanish sardines did nothing (cept catch some wierd fish that I couldn't identify).

Then I went to Tomoka State Park and crabbed off the Beach Street bridge where I caught some crabs, but all small, biggest being maybe 4-4.5".

Threw it all back of course.

My hunt for blue crabs continues... :(

Try under the NSB south causeway off the fishing pier.
Also the farther south you go the bigger the crabs! Try from Oak Hill to Titusville; I've heard good things from down that way.

You usually dont have to teach us yanks much, we seem to catch on a little quicker. Besides when you live up north you only have time to eat 1 meal. Up north you have to work. The one thing that I can say for the south is.  We have crabbin all year. ;D ;D ;D ;)

I was in cocoa and mosquito last weekend and it was pretty cold there too. No crabs anywhere in close.
