What kind of snake was it. ?

It wasn't a one eye'd snake like Gramps stated even though it probably ended up with only one eye. It was a Moccasin, after all the recent rain and mild temps I guess they decided t emerge  
   And Gramps I did this to it   Not the other kind of

so you went out the other day and had a mocassin fall off a tree in fornt of you.  Yikes.  God I hate snakes.  Only gto rattlers and copperheads up here.  [dang] Moccasin wil come right in the boat after ya.
We have anon poisonous snake up her called a "great northern water snakes"  they are not deadly ,b ut just about the meaniest peices of [curd] snake you'll ever meet .  they are afraid of nothing ans will come right up out of the  water and climb in the boat and attack you.   Anyway, that adds some extra fun while crabbing!


P.S.  I hate snakes.. only good ones are dead ones!!!!

I always "ground check" all snakes to see if they are poisonous or not,

In Maryland, all snakes are protected...    Go figure.....
