Did you see any deer? Personally I seen more hunters in the woods than deer. I' looking at some different places to hunt next year. And trying to get into some clubs.

Hope you do better next year,,,,as for hunting spots, try farms, offer some labor, weed eating, fence paniting,or what ever????? My girl freind has horses and boards horses for people,we curently rent a farm in forest hill md only 19 acres[got a ten point out of there] ......in march we are going to lease a place in hydes md that is 120 acres,,, :o  and there are deer every where, so hopefuly next year will be better. After the one big boy,I only got two doe  ,,seemed as soon as  rut was done the deer where gone or not comeing out till after dark.........,, ::) ::) theres allways next, year good luck to all        http://www.bluecrab.info/forum/index.php/topic,22661.0.html

For the kind of season it was....I didn't do too bad.....bagged all my deer before the New Year though. It is usually opposite. Most seasons....I'll maybe get one or two with the bow early, then one during shotgun......Then a bunch with the muzzleloader and shotgun when January comes.

We had that Blue-Tongue disease hit our deer herds in South Jersey (Wharton State Forest)...That combined with the coyote problems and the extended seasons that we've had about 5 years in a row....well, it took it's toll.

I take off the 2 weeks of Christmas every year...to enjoy the holidays with family and friends and to muzzle load. I hunted for 2 1/2 weeks ...pretty much everyday...and saw 4 deer. That's pathetic. I can remember when I first started hunting with the bow out there and opening day i saw ...what? 30? No exaggeration.

So, yeah it was a rough year for seeing deer. They are just not there........ Percentage wise...not so bad

Too many hunters.  i'm actually going to try and get access to some private land. I'm putting a flyer up at work in the office. Never get it if you don't ask, right??

Until next year.
